Osteopathy is a system for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of diseases. It works with the structure and function of the body and is based on the principle that a person's well-being depends on the smooth functioning of the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue.
My goal is to relieve people of their pain, so that they can live their lives to the fullest. This is achieved through careful listening and examination, explanation of the cause of the pain, appropriate techniques, and a plan that is specific to you.
I received my Master's degree in Osteopathy after completing a 4 year course at the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, England, with distinction. The university program lasts 4 years and is made up of 3000 academic hours, including 1200 hours of clinical practice. My education gives me a thorough knowledge of the human body, allowing me to combine a scientific and holistic approach to my work.
Osteopathy can help if you are already experiencing pain or restrictions in your body. It is also a great way to prevent new problems from occurring. Many of our patients also have difficulty with everyday activities such as sitting at a desk or driving a car - this can be due to poor posture, back or neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain and a range of other problems.
During labor, babies can undergo severe compression. In addition, they are in a small space for a long period of time, which is why several narrow areas may appear caused by their positioning in the womb. Osteopathy can help with the symptoms that result from this pressure and help your baby feel more comfortable.
From pain and posture problems in children, to rapid growth and hormonal changes in teenagers, osteopaths are able to identify areas of tension or strain in the body that are causing discomfort to the child. Osteopaths understand the different demands on a child's growing body and can help with many different problems associated with this.
Unfortunately, pain during pregnancy is a common occurrence. They can be treated effectively and usually quite quickly. Osteopathic care, during pregnancy, can help relieve or prevent symptoms, allowing expectant mothers to feel more relaxed and enjoy their pregnancy.
Each session begins with hearing your story. The most valuable information for making the right diagnosis is your experience: where the discomfort is, how it occurred, what causes and relieves the pain, etc. The examination then allows me to confirm that your problem is of musculoskeletal origin and that osteopathy can help.
The body creates pain when it believes there is danger. Often that is the case, but sometimes the body can misinterpret and cause pain when there is no danger. Depending on the case, a different approach will help you best.
Often pain prevents us or makes us afraid to move. Osteopathy, through painless techniques, relieves both new (acute) and persistent (chronic) pain. Feeling less pain helps us regain confidence in our bodies, allowing us to find (again) the pleasure of movement.
My goal is not only to relieve your pain, but also to help you prevent future pain. By establishing a plan specific to your case, we can not only prevent pain but also avoid future consultations. Instead of depending on an osteopath, you can be self-sufficient. Your health is in your hands.
Each treatment lasts 45 minutes and costs 80 BGN.
You can pay in cash or by card
If you have a medical history (operations, X-rays, blood tests, …), please bring the results. A list of your medications is also useful.
Depending on your preference, you may be in underwear or loose clothing to facilitate examination and movement. It is important to be comfortable.
The practice is at a pleasant temperature. If you wish, I can offer you a blanket. If you arrive early there is a waiting room where you can wait for your appointment.
